Benefits from ENG 2021 Course in Proving Writing Process

In this course, I totally learned new methods and practiced it and proved my old writing styles. Also, in this course, we learned a new book, called A Writer Teaches Writing. This book introduced me a lot of writing strategies, and the author explained each strategy very deeply. Plus, this author preferred taking examples behind each strategy. Before I was enrolled to Wenzhou-Kean University, I know well in every strategy in Chinese writing but a little in English writing. In the high school, when I was asked to write an English article, I usually use the word of some good book, good sentence that teachers required us to remember and apply. High school teacher also taught me to make an outline before writing, but it is really different from outline of college now. Now in the college, after one year experience of English writing and reading A Writer Teaches Writing, I was inspired by a strategy of outline.

Interestingly, the new method, outlining, is my favorite method and style to do a prewriting. After class, I consult him to solve my doubt, and he told me that even though he would spend a lots time on outline, he could finish writing faster than others when he finished his outline and rely on his outline. Indeed, I tried this method in the next exam and found that I could not only save much time for checking but also improve my writing marks.
